Roy, a pioneer of Shoal Creek since 1993, serves as the lead visionary, guiding its mission of Making Jesus Accessible. A graduate of Baylor University and Dallas Theological Seminary, he is married to Candy (also on staff) and they have 4 children and 9 grandchildren. Roy is the author of Spent Matches, which chronicles Shoal Creek’s journey.

Candy Moran, a founding visionary of Shoal Creek, has lived in the Liberty community with her husband Roy for 40 years. She leads the Children’s Ministries and supports the Creative Arts Teams through coaching and service.

Pat Lowe has been Shoal Creek’s receptionist since 2010. She’s often the first voice a person hears or the first face a person meets when they step foot on our campus.

Justin has been a full-time staff member since 2007, overseeing Communications and the Community Network at Shoal Creek. He and his wife Erin, a fifth-grade teacher in the Liberty Public Schools, have three children and a golden retriever named Honey.

Sean Hoeflicker has been on staff at Shoal Creek since 2006, helping lead the church’s strategy at the Pleasant Valley campus. He also speaks occasionally and oversees the development of the Pathway, designed to help people take meaningful steps in their spiritual journey. Sean and his wife Julie have been part of the Shoal Creek community since 2000.

Jason Perry has been on staff at Shoal Creek for 20 years, serving as the lead financial officer and campus supervisor. He also leads the Marriage Community, helping couples grow in connection and faith. Jason and his wife, Diana, have two children and two grandchildren.
