STUDENTS (6th – 12th grade)
For our Sunday morning student experience, we start with a “hang out” time.
For 15 minutes we have music playing and the students play games (ping pong, billiards, foosball, air hockey, GameCube) and/or talk with one another and the leaders in one of the “conversation areas”. Our desire is for the students to form connections with the leaders and each other.
Then, we then break into smaller groups.
During this time, the students relate to one another and the leaders through a couple of questions: “What are you thankful for?” and “What is the biggest challenge you are facing right now?” We then read and discuss a Bible passage relevant to the day’s topic. Often, we will watch a short video that helps engage the topic as well.
Our hope is for the students to relate to God by actually getting their “fingerprints on the Bible” and learning to apply His wisdom to their lives as they practice obeying Him.
