God did not intend for us to have a "Do-It-Yourself" attitude toward life. God wants us to live in loving and authentic community where the struggles and joys of living in this world can be shared.

Having people around us who can engage life with us is crucial to the spiritual journey. Your Shoal Creek experience will never be fully satisfying until you discover the power of authentic community in a Group.

Our group structure allows us to grow larger in numbers while still retaining the feelings of "being connected" that can be lost in large churches. It's in these groups, these little "communities", where we rediscover the dreams God has for us.

There are a variety of long term groups like mixed gender, men only, women only, high school, and middle school. There are also short term groups that are tailored for specific topics or people (Dads, Moms, Wounded Hearts [for sexual abuse victims], etc.).
