A large part of why we can do what we do is because our community has been blessed with many great leaders. Whether they are team leaders or group leaders, much of the effectiveness of Shoal Creek's mission "to turn spiritual seekers into a community of fully devoted followers of Christ" rests on the shoulders of those leaders. It is our leaders and our volunteers who continue to see God introduce Himself to their friends and co-workers, their neighbors and family. Because so much is invested in connecting our community to God and to others, we are a church that in many ways, lives and dies by our community. And while we do have a paid staff of individuals who oversee much of the day-to-day operations of Shoal Creek, we could never stress enough the importance of the dozens of non-paid leaders who volunteer time, energy, and resources toward seeing the love and hope of Christ spread to the nearest and furthest corners of the world.
